$1,000 Scholarship Opportunity For Portuguese Speaking Students

The Centro Cultural Brazil USA logo.The Centro Cultural Brasil USA in association with TAM airlines is awarding two $1,000 scholarships to students able to read, speak and write Portuguese.

Applicants must be  full-time students seeking an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at Miami Dade College, have a 3.0 GPA or higher, and be able to read, speak and write in Portuguese.

Students must submit an application along with a 250 word essay, in English or Portuguese, on how to enrich Brazil’s culture by acting as a mediator between Brazil and the United States.

Deadline is March 15.  Applications can be submitted by mail or in person to the Kendall campus’ financial aid office, 11011 SW 104 St, building R.
