College students can purchase tickets to Adrienne Arsht Center performances for a discounted price through Arsht UTIX for selected shows. Among the discounted tickets available are, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Feb. 14 and the New World Symphony: Nordic Masters on March 11. The student discounted rate is $20.
“It’s a great social night out,” said Andrew Goldberg, the vice president of marketing for the Adrienne Arsht Center. “We’ve made it really affordable to try something new and to try out different kinds of performances that can develop into a lifetime love of the shows and concerts. It’s an unforgettable experience.”
Full-time, degree seeking students can register and purchase tickets for the performances through www.arshtcenter.org/UTIX as soon as they are made available for each show.
Students are required to show a photo identification card as well as the printed ticket to be allowed admission.
The Adrienne Arsht Center is located at 1300 Biscayne Blvd., and serves as one of Miami’s cultural venues, hosting the Florida Grand Opera and the Miami City Ballet, among other special events.
