Idea Center Makes Entrepreneurs’ Dreams Come True

The Idea Center is giving the American Entrepreneurship Award, which offers students and the Miami-Dade County community the opportunity to receive $125,000 in funding to support their business ideas, plus $5,000 exclusively toward MDC students. The deadline to apply is April 27, and winners will be announced in late June.

Winners will receive legal, accounting, communications and information technology consultancy services as well.

“The award provides Miami Dade College students a platform to showcases their talents, their commitment to innovation, critical thinking and entrepreneurship,” said Karyne Bury, the program manager at the Idea Center. “The American Entrepreneurship Award is one of the many programs at the Idea Center which reflects our College’s motto, that ‘opportunity changes everything.'”
