Berta Ríos is serving as the new chair of the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development at North Campus. Her new post began March 18.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Ríos left the island to pursue a higher education. She has a bachelor’s from the University of Rochester, a master’s from Duke University and a doctorate from Boston College.
