Jazzing it Up: Miami Dade College’s Jazz at Wolfson Presents presented The Miami Big Sound Orchestra on Oct. 14. The group is a collaboration of musicians from Miami’s jazz and Latin music communities. The band has toured with world-renowned artists such as Celia Cruz, Rey Ruiz, and Gloria Estefan. It features a blend of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music with contemporary big-band jazz, funk and soul.
