Quartet Concerto: José Romero (trumpet), Féliz Gómez (piano), Jack Ciano (drums), and Matt Bonelli (bass) opened the show with great emotion for those who went to Jazz Under the Stars at Kendall Campus on Nov. 7. Slade House: Author David Mitchell, who was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME magazine in 2007, presented his latest book titled Slade House at an exclusive author event hosted by Books & Books. The event took place on Nov. 5 at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus. Also seen on the table are artifacts such as a union belt , where rifle and powder were held, a Civil War canteen, a U.S Navy insignia that belonged to Kozloski’s Grandfather (Francis Hamilton) who served in the Seabees during World War II.
