A new exhibition by Cuban artist Florencio Gelabert titled A Dialogue With Time is open to the public through Aug. 16 in the Main and Skylight Galleries at the Freedom Tower, 600 Biscayne Blvd.
The exhibit, part of Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design, is composed of the artist’s large sculptures, drawings, and sketches. Gelabert’s three dimensional work and installations incorporate elements extracted from nature, utilitarian objects and architectural fragments.
Featured artwork at the exhibit has never been featured before. The event is free and open to the public. Private tours are available.
