New York Times Columnist To Hold Talk At Wolfson

New York Times columnist David Brooks will discuss his new book, The Road to Character on Thursday, April 30 at Wolfson Campus in the Chapman Center, Room 3210, 300 NE 2 Ave. at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to writing for the New York Times, Brooks also appears regularly on PBS NewsHour, NPR’s All Things Considered and NBC’s Meet the Press. Brooks focuses on the human condition. In his latest Brooks explores how some of the world’s greatest thinkers and inspiring leaders, through internal struggle and knowledge of their own limitations, built a strong inner character.

“Students should expect an evening of intelligent and thought-provoking discussion,” said Paola Fernandez Rana, manager at the Center for Writing and Literature, the organization hosting Brooks with Books & Books.
