MDC MOAD To Host María José Arjona

The Miami Dade College Museum of Art and Design will host María José Arjona. She will perform All the Others in Me at the Miami Light Project at the Light Box at Goldman Warehouse, 404 N.W. 26th St., on April 14 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The performance will focus on the female body from the viewpoint of Western civilization and Islam, and is under the Living Together Series, which focuses on art installations and performance art.

Arjona is a performance artist who mainly uses her body in her performances. She is from Bogotá and her work has been showcased across Latin America, Europe and North America.

General admission is $15. Admission is $10 for MDC employees and is $5 for students with a school ID. Miami Dade College students can get free tickets but they must RSVP using their ID.
