iCED Looking For Civic Ambassadors

Miami Dade College’s Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy is currently seeking Civic Ambassadors at all iCED locations.  

The paid work-study position offers students the opportunity to serve their local community through advocacy whilst expanding their leadership skills.

Students can apply at their campus’ iCED office or online at mdc.edu/workstudy.

General duties include implementing civic engagement projects, planning iCED sponsored events, completing clerical assignments and giving informative service-learning presentations.

Applicants must receive financial aid and be enrolled in a minimum of six credits. Previous experience is not required.
