InterAmerican Campus To Commemorate MLK At Brunch

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, the InterAmerican Campus, 627 SW 27th Ave.,is hosting a brunch to commemorate Dr.King.

The event will be held on Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room 401.

The key note speaker will be reverend Richard P. Dunn II, Senior Pastor of Faith Community Baptist Church. Dunn was also a city of Miami commissioner of district five. Remarks will be given by professor Renee Kilpatrick as well.

The event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

“Students and the campus community should attend because this is a wonderful opportunity to gather and reflect on the life and legacy of such an extraordinary leader, Dr. King,” said Crystel Lewis, director of Student Life at InterAmerican Campus. “It is a great way to celebrate his life’s work and all that he dedicated to making this country better.”
