ADT, a home protection system, is offering a $500 scholarship called Protect Your Home. 
Students must submit a 400-600 word essay on how mobile technology has been used in education and how it could improve education and classes for future students.
In order to qualify, you must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident.
Essays must be submitted online at homesecurity.io/scholarship
The application deadline is Dec. 31.
