Dove Sculpture Unveiling At North Campus

North Campus will unveil the “Dove of the Peace” sculpture on International Human Rights Day, Dec. 10, at 10:30 a.m.

The unveiling will take place at the lawn area near the intersection of East Road and 113 Street  at North Campus, 11380 NW 27th Ave.

The 14-foot piece, sculpted by Spanish sculptor Eladio de Mora also known as dEmo.The sculpture unveiling is an effort to continue the growth of the International Sculpture park at the North Campus while showcasing  a universal symbol  of world peace and diplomacy.

“It’s an opportunity for the students and the community to experience art in public space on beautiful ground of the North Campus,” said Fermin Vazquez, Senior Director of Campus Administration.

The event is open to students and the public.
