NWSA To Host Annual Senior Showcase May 10-28

New World School of the Arts will host their annual visual arts exhibition, Prelude: Senior Showcase 2021, from May 10-28.

The exhibit, which has been held for more than 30 years, will be at the NWSA’s Gallery, 25 N.E. 2nd St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It will feature the visual artwork of 22 soon-to-be-graduates. Featured artworks will include paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures and more.

“New World School of the Arts is only the beginning of the many opportunities [graduating students] will have,” said O.Gustavo Plascencia, dean of visual arts at NWSA. “We couldn’t be any prouder and more humbled to be part of their journey.”

Guests will be required to undergo temperature checks before they enter the building, wear face masks and social distance.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
