The Reporter is looking for Miami Dade College students interested in writing, reporting, photography, multimedia or design to join its staff.
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in at least six credits this summer. You can apply in the link provided here.
The paper, which was launched on Oct. 4, 2010, aims to inform students and staff at all eight MDC campuses. It has newsrooms in Room 4209 at North Campus,11380 N.W. 27th Ave., Room 1610 at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., and Room M239 at Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104 St.
During its tenure, The Reporter has won three National Pacemaker Awards and received 149 awards—including 88 first-place honors—from the Florida Community College Publications Association. It has been named the top community college paper in Florida 10 years in a row.
