Capture The Sights And Sounds Of Everglades National Park At Live Arts Miami Showcase

Live Arts Miami is showcasing The Everglades Songbook Suite, an immersive audiovisual presentation that captures the sights and sounds of Everglades National Park, on June 21 at 7:30 p.m. via Crowdcast and Facebook Live.

The event will focus on the community’s connection to nature and how it can be explored through the art of music. It will also shine a light on the increasingly threatened ecosystem, flora and fauna of the Everglades.

The Everglades Songbook Suite was created by Grammy-nominated guitarist Jose Elias and produced in collaboration with Community Arts & Culture, a nonprofit organization that provides underserved neighborhoods with opportunities to participate in cultural experiences.

Throughout the past 28 years, Elias has performed across five continents and produced multiple studio recordings. He currently plays with the Afro-Cuban band Spam Allstars and the Cuban folklore group Cortaditos.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees must RSVP at this link.
