MDC’s Museum Of Art And Design Expands Digital Footprint

Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art and Design is expanding its online presence with a new website, public program and publication series.

On MOAD’s website, people can find galleries and exhibitions, virtual tours, videos about performance and art, and a list of upcoming events. This allows them to experience the museum while it’s closed for renovations until Nov. 6.

A new educational program—MOAD Talks—is also featured on the museum’s website. It dives into knowledge on the influence of art, science and technology on present-day life.

Pre-recorded MOAD Talks can be watched through Vimeo and live recordings are available through Zoom.

MOAD Unbound, the museum’s first online publication series, aims to provide readers with new insights and perspectives of the exhibitions through interviews and essays from artists and art critics.

The spring issue of Museum Unbound can be found here.

For questions or information on exhibitions and membership, click here or contact MOAD at (305) 237-7700.
