The Miami Dade College Kendall Campus’ Dance Department will present their Art of Dance Concert on December 13 and 14 at the McCarthy Theatre, 11011 SW 104 St., Room 6120.
Showtimes are Dec. 13 at 11 a.m and 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
This year’s event will present new works by Leaps and Bounds resident artist, Simone Sobers.
The Leaps and Bounds Artist-in-Residence Program runs from October to November. It is designed to give students first-hand knowledge and skill on the importance of cultural literacy through the art of dance.
Evening shows are $5 for MDC students, and $10 for non-MDC students. The morning matinee is free.
