Faculty Alumni Art Exhibit Open At North Campus

The North Campus Art Gallery, 11380 N.W 27 Ave., in Room 5107 is hosting the Loose Threads faculty alumni art exhibit through Sept. 15. 

It features work from art professors such as Victor Gomez and Alena Fresquet and Miami Dade College alumni Valeria Yamamoto. The exhibit, which opened on June 7, includes acrylic and oil paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramic and fiber and collage artwork. 

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.  

The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Gomez, who graduated from Robert Morgan Educational Center in 2021, will serve as editor-in-chief, briefing editor and forum editor for The Reporter during the 2022-2023 school year. He aspires to become a social sciences professor.
