This Class Will Teach You How To Dance To Afro-Venezuelan Drums

San Juan USA, an organization aimed at celebrating Venezuelan culture, is hosting a Cátedra Baila Afrovenezolano, a master class to teach people how to dance to Afro-Venezuelan drums. 

The event will be held at the Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. Third St. on June 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Marisabel Pérez and Antonio Laya will lead the class, teaching genres such as macizon and perra, golpe de plaza and sangueo and golpe.
