President Dr. Eduardo Padrón Is Honored With The Good Scout Award

Miami Dade College President, Eduardo Padrón has been presented with the 2013 “Good Scout” award by the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

This award recognizes respected community leaders who demonstrate the morals of scouting with their personal and public contributions to the community.    

In  addition to serving as the College President at MDC, Padrón also serves on the boards of the Federal Reserve and the Council on Foreign Relations, and several other national organizations.  

He has also received hundreds of major awards during his career such as the 2012 “National Citizen Service Award” from Voices for National Service and the 2012 “Sand In My Shoes Award” from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
