Miami Dade College’s Hialeah Campus, 1780 W 49th St., is hosting their third annual kids and family festival on Aug. 17 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. in the student services lobby.

The festival will feature bounce houses, arts and crafts, face painting, pony rides, food and a train that circles the campus. Children will also have the opportunity to take back-to-school photos and get free T-shirts and a haircut.

Businesses such as Memorial Healthcare, WSS Shoes, Citrus and Cricket Wireless are sponsoring the event. Funds will go toward the I AM MDC scholarship drive.

The event is free and open to the public.
