Kendall Campus To Host Pickleball Event

Miami Dade College’s Kendall Campus is hosting a pickleball event with ChamberSOUTH, a branch of Miami-Dade County’s Chamber of Commerce, on Aug. 23 at the Racquet Sports Complex, 9900 E. Loop Drive, near building R, from 6-8 p.m. 

Sponsored by the Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant, the event aims to connect students, staff and the community through pickleball, said Melissa Cancio, executive director of ChamberSOUTH.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants must bring their own paddle and ball.
