Kendall Campus ACCESS Department To Showcase Art Exhibit

The ACCESS department Kendall Campus is hosting an art exhibit in honor of Disability Awareness Month.

Students are invited to submit work that illustrates feelings, support, and respect of people with disabilities by Oct. 18.

A competition will be held on Oct. 23 at the Fred Shaw plaza from 12-1:30 p.m. for all submitted pieces.

The top three winners will receive tuition grants—first, second and third place winners will receive $500, $300 and $100, respectively.

“Increasing awareness helps to remove the stigmas associated with people with disabilities and showcases the talents of artists with disabilities,” said Mercy Macrina, director of the ACCESS department at Kendall Campus.

ACCESS has hosted this event yearly since 2017.
