The Inter-American Campus, 627 SW 27th Ave., will have a showing of the movie “Walkout” on Oct. 29 at 11:15 a.m. in Room 401.
The 2006 HBO movie is the true story of the 1968 Chicago walkouts to protest unequal conditions in the Los Angeles Unified School District high schools.
Edward James Olmos directs the movie. The event is free and open to the public.
