Applications For The Sustainable Development Goals Competition Are Open

The Sustainable Development Goals competition is accepting applications through Sept. 5. The contest gives students the opportunity to work with local companies and nonprofit organizations on solutions to social issues including climate change and gender equity.

Selected students will work on a sustainable solution for these companies and present them in November to a group of panelists who will award the most innovative ideas.

Applicants must provide a resume and a letter of recommendation from a professor or mentor.

The Sustainable Development Goals were initiated in 2015 by the United Nations to promote human rights and developmental solutions internationally.
