Ethan Hawke To Receive Variety Virtuoso Award At Wolfson Campus

Academy Award-nominated actor, Ethan Hawke, will receive the Variety Virtuoso Award in the auditorium at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., in Room 1261 on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. 

Hawke’s career includes more than 70 film credits and acclaimed performances in works like Dead Poets Society, Boyhood, Training Day, and Moon Knight. 

The event is part of the Miami Film Festival GEMS. Variety Co-Editor-In-Chief Ramin Setoodeh will moderate a live Q&A session with the actor. 

Hawke is expected to discuss his current projects, including The Lowdown and Blue Moon, which releases in October

The 12th annual Miami Film Festival GEMS will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5. The fall showcase gives audiences a look into the year’s most promising films.
