US Ambassador To Panama Set To Speak At Wolfson Campus

Kevin Cabrera, the United States’ ambassador to Panama, will speak at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 1261 on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

The event is part of the Mark Samuelian Distinguished Speaker Series, hosted in collaboration with The Honors College at Wolfson Campus and the U.S. Embassy in Panama.

Aaron Rosen, president and founder of World Affairs Council of Miami and Kristina Rosales, board member of World Affairs Council of Miami will be moderating the conversation.

Cabrera, who was nominated by President Donald J. Trump in 2024, will discuss future relations between the U.S. and Panama and the usage of the Panama Canal.

He will also highlight the growing role of China in Latin American politics and how that affects current American affairs.
