MDC President Honored By South Florida Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce

Miami Dade College  President, Eduardo J. Padrón,  received the Golden Eagle Award from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The award was presented to him at the 19th Annual installation luncheon on June 6.

Padrón has been a recipient of many major awards throughout his career.  Recently he was named one of TIME magazine’s “10 Best College Presidents,” one of the eight most “influential college leaders” in the U.S. in the Washington Post and the “Floridian of the Year” by Florida Trend magazine.
