North Campus Premieres Whale Rider

In honor of Women’s History Month, Miami Dade College North Campus will show the movie Whale Rider on March 28 from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Room 2151.

The film is about a 12-year-old Maori girl that wants to become the chief of her tribe, and focuses on the ways in which women are seen in different cultures.

The event is free and open to the public.
