New Public Safety Chief at North Campus

Victor Moreno started as the new Chief of Public Safety at North Campus on July 13.

Moreno began working at Miami Dade College 14 years ago at Wolfson Campus where he has served as the assistant lead dispatcher and most recently as the assistant chief. He will supervise more than 100 employees.

“My goal is to keep my staff unified and well trained,” Moreno said.

Campus Public Safety’s main goal is to prevent crime, protect and serve the college community and to provide services to the college which promote campus safety.
