Miami Dade College President Padrón Elected As New Chair of Business-Higher Education Forum

Miami Dade College President Eduardo Padrón was elected as the new chair of the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) this summer.

The BHEF is the United States’ oldest membership organization of Fortune 500 CEOs and research university presidents who are dedicated to the advancement of innovative education and workforce solutions and improving U.S. competitiveness.

Padrón earned his Ph.D. from the University of Florida. He has received various honors recently, such as being tapped as one of the top 10 college presidents by Time Magazine, and being named one of the eight most influential college presidents by The Washington Post.
