
Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2nd Ave. will feature performances by pianist Jim Gasior as part of their “Jazz at Wolfson Presents” series on Dec. 5 at noon at the Wolfson Auditorium, Room 1261.
Gasior is a jazz professor at New World School of the Arts and has performed with Freddie Hubbard, Kelly Clarkson, Smokey Robinson, and Jose Feliciano among others.
The program is the only year-long jazz series held in Miami-Dade county, and was founded in 1998 by jazz studies professor Michael Di Liddo. The series was inspired by MDC’s Lunchtime Lively Arts concert series in the 1970s.
