Honors College Student Receives Full Ride To Yale University

Ivy League Bound: Julieth Ochoa was awarded a full scholarship to Yale University.

Julieth Ochoa, a recent Kendall Campus graduate, was awarded a full scholarship to Yale University.

The scholarship will cover Ochoa’s entire academic career at Yale, including tuition, fees, housing and dining.

“When I was accepted to Yale, I got really excited because I never really thought I would make it,”  Ochoa said.

Ochoa graduated with an associate of arts degree in mathematics from the Honors College this past Spring semester with a 4.0 GPA.

The Cuban native was also awarded the $5,000 MDC Board of Trustees Scholarship.

Ochoa will be enrolled in the School of Engineering at Yale starting this fall.
