Eduardo J. Padrón Receives Citizen Service Award

Miami Dade College President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón received Voices for National Service’s Citizen Service Award in Washington D.C. on Feb. 14, alongside Jon Bon Jovi.

Voices for National Service is a coalition of national service programs, state commissioners and individuals dedicated to increasing opportunities for all Americans to serve and volunteer.

Padrón was nominated by Campus Compact, a national union of more than 1,100 college and university presidents devoted to encouraging community service, civic engagement and service learning in education.
