Women Moving Forward Donation Drive

Women Moving Forward is inviting the community to donate in support of domestic violence victims who are in need of basic necessities as part of their end of the year donation drive at Miami Dade College North Campus.

Donations will be accepted by Women Moving Forward, an MDC student organization dedicated to raising awareness about the struggles of women in today’s world, in Room 7320 from 1 to 3 p.m., Mondays through Fridays until the end of the Fall semester.

Local victims are in need of toiletries, clothing, shoes, canned food, school supplies and new or used cell phones with chargers.

“Now that the year is coming to an end and most of you are thinking about purchasing new clothes and personal items, please consider donating your used belongings to people who are in great need of them,” said Jessica Alvarez, President of Women Moving Forward.
