MDC School of Education Ranked by FLDOE

Miami Dade College’s School of Education Baccalaureate program was ranked best in state at improving student performance by the Florida Department of Education.

The Florida Department of Education tracks students’ and first year teachers’ progress. MDC topped the list as MDC graduates now teaching at Florida public schools showed improved student performances on standardized tests, according to FLDOE.

“It makes me feel proud; it’s a great team that works together,” said Director of the School of Education, Dr. Susan Neimand. “We really focus on students, so when they become teachers they can change the world.”
