Transgender male performer Scott Turner Schofield will perform his one-man show, Becoming a Man in 127 EASY Steps, on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Wolfson Campus Live Arts Lab, located at 300 N.E. 2nd Ave.
Two other performances of the show will be held at Wolfson Campus on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 at 8 p.m.
Instead of focusing on the experience of transitioning, the TED talker and winner of a Tanne Award for artistic excellence, reviews living life as the opposite gender. Audience participation is encouraged, as Schofield lets the audience decide which of his 127 stories he will tell.
Tickets are $30 for the general public and $10 for MDC students. Online purchase is available at mdclivearts.org. Parking is available at the Wolfson Campus parking garage in the 7000 building.
