Above The Umbrellas Comes To West Campus

Daniel Deladonne’s exhibition, Above The Umbrellas, will be featured at the West Campus art gallery, 3800 N.W. 115th Ave., Room 1105 through April 9.

The exhibition aims to capture scenes of nature in Miami and across the globe in collaboration with Contemporary Art Projects USA.

One of the prominent pieces of the exhibit is an artistic photograph entitled Above The Umbrellas that depicts an aerial view of the beach. It was introduced to the public during Art Basel Week in 2018.

Deladonne, a photographer born and raised in Miami Beach, developed a passion for street art upon visiting his mother’s hometown of Santiago, Chile. He later pegged the pseudonym Spore at age 13 to practice art in Miami, and later found his niche in photography.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
