Arts & Philosophy Department Presents The Faculty Room

The Arts & Philosophy Department and The Pen Players will team up to present the Kesselring Prize-winning play, The Faculty Room, by Bridget Carpenter. The play will be performed from Jan. 21 through 24 and Jan. 28 through 31 at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave., at the Black Box Studio Theater in building 5 in Room 5116.

The dark comedy is a six person play that takes place inside the faculty lounge and explores the dark side of high school, looking at the dysfunctional relationships of teachers.

It is directed by Jesus Peyna. The six person cast features Andy Quiroga, Donna Macfarlane, Shane Prentice, Jessica Zayas, Manny Gonzalez and Stephanie Fuentes.

Showtime begins at 8 p.m. from Thursday-Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The event is free and open to the public.
