The University of Miami’s Alumni Association will be presenting award-winning author and journalist Brian Bandell, as part of their speaker series.
The event will take place on Feb. 11, at the Newman Alumni Center, 6200 San Amaro Dr., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bandell will offer advice to young writers in terms of being successful in the industry, and recount his experiences as an author.
The event is free and open to the public. Journalism majors are encouraged to attend.
