Best-selling Author Markus Zusak To Present New Book At MDC

Miami Book Fair will host a signing for best-selling author Markus Zusak’s new book, Bridge of Clay, on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., Room 1261.

The young adult novel follows orphans Clay Dunbar and his four brothers as they learn the secret of their father’s disappearance. The book was released on Oct. 9.

Zusak is an award-winning, Australian author. He is most known for his young adult novels The Book Thief and The Messenger. In 2006, Zusak won Sydney Morning Herald’s Young Australian Novelist of the Year Award and received the Margaret A. Edwards Award from the American Library Association in 2014.

Tickets are $26 for two people and include a signed copy of the book. Books are to be claimed upon entrance to the event.
