Black Ink Exhibit At Hialeah

The Black Ink exhibition at Hialeah Campus, 1776 W 49 St. in Room 2109, features works of art all drawn in black ink by artists of Cuban descent.

Running through April 30, this exhibition inaugurates MDC Galleries of Art + Design’s new gallery, which is also a part of the new Hialeah Cultural Center.

All works featured in the exhibition are from the curator, Gustavo Orta’s, private collection.

Gabrielle Rueda, 19, is a mass communications/journalism major at Wolfson Campus. Rueda, a 2014 graduate of Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School, will serve as the Forum Editor for The Reporter during the 2015-16 school year. She aspires to become a reporter for a major newspaper or magazine and to one day publish her own book.
