Applications are being accepted for Miami Dade College’s Board of Trustees Award.
Eight students—one from each Miami Dade College campus—are selected to receive the $5,000 scholarship.
Eligible students will receive an email from the dean of students at their respective campus to apply.
They must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, plan to graduate this semester with an associate in arts degree and move on to receive a bachelor’s degree from a four year university.
Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation, résumé and a short-response essay.
Winners will be announced at the College’s Commencement Ceremony.
The BOT serves as the College’s governing body. They offer the scholarship every spring semester.
