Book Fair’s Annual Miami Writers Institute Goes Virtual

The Miami Book Fair will stream the 2020 Miami Writers Institute from July 27 to August 1 through Crowdcast

It will feature writing workshops from bestselling authors, a publishing seminar and manuscript consultations with a literary agent. Workshops are limited to 15 students.

Some of the featured participants will be poet Richard Blanco, literary agent Dana Murphy and writer Bryan Washington.

“By moving the conference online, we are offering people stuck in quarantine the chance to network with others writers all around the country, receive in-depth feedback, study with critically acclaimed writers and much more,” said MBF Writers Institute Program Coordinator Marci Cancio-Bello.

Prices vary depending on the event. Attendees can register here.

For more information, contact Cancio-Bello at (305) 237-7889 or mcanciob@mdc.edu.
