CLEO Institute Is Accepting Internship Applications

The Climate Leadership Engagement Opportunities Institute is accepting internship applications to promote climate and energy campaigns this fall semester. 

Four interns will work 10-15 hours per week to promote climate change awareness across Miami Dade College. They will each receive a $300 stipend.

Students may intern in roles such as social media outreach, public relations, civic engagement and data collection. 

The program will begin on Aug. 21 and end on Dec. 16. Interns may be considered for paid positions at the end of the internship.

Gomez, who graduated from Robert Morgan Educational Center in 2021, will serve as editor-in-chief, briefing editor and forum editor for The Reporter during the 2022-2023 school year. He aspires to become a social sciences professor.
