Dennard Mitchell To Host Motivational Life Skills Discussion

Motivational speaker and life coach Dennard Mitchell will present a discussion at Hialeah Campus, 1780 W. 49th St., on March 26 at 8:25 a.m., 12:40 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. in Room 5101.

Mitchell will talk to students about the power of good decision making, leadership, empathy, problem-solving, teamwork and communication to help transform individuals into well-rounded college students.

This discussion is apart of the MDC Empowered Series at Hialeah Campus, which encourages students to be the best version of themselves in and outside the classroom.

Jose Tovar

Jose Tovar, 20, is a mass communications/ journalism major at Kendall Campus. Tovar, who obtained his GED in August of 2017—two months after arriving in Miami from Venezuela—will serve as sports editor for The Reporter during the 2020-2021 school year. He aspires to be a sports journalist or sportscaster at ESPN.
