Earth Ethics Institute Offers Farming Service Learning

Through the Earth Ethics Institute at Miami Dade College, students can sign up to volunteer for a gardening and farming hands-on experience.

The service project allows students to volunteer at local farms and work with farmers, learning  gardening and the nutritional value of freshly farmed foods.

This opportunity is open to all students during the fall and spring semesters, however dates are coordinated depending on student interest.

The Earth Ethics Institute’s mission is to provide Miami Dade College with a greener atmosphere by offering students many opportunities through workshops, selected courses and student organizations such as YES! for Environmental Sustainability.
