Eduardo J. Padrón Campus Appoints Director Of Campus Administration

Yvette Sheran, a long-time administrator at Miami Dade College, was appointed as director of campus administration at the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus on July 28.

“I am committed to collaborating closely with the student services and academic affairs department to ensure that our students, faculty and staff enjoy an exceptional campus experience,” Sheran said.

Her responsibilities involved supervising campus services which include: custodial services, public safety and campus events and rentals. She will also oversee construction projects and renovations. 

Sheran began at the College in 1999 as a trouble clerk at Kendall Campus. For the past 26 years, she has worked at several campuses including West, North and Padrón campuses. 

Some of her assignments have included being a clerk, duplicating supervisor, campus services supervisor and director of advisement and career services. Most recently, she served as associate college registrar as part of the district student services division from 2019-25.

Sheran earned an associate degree in special education from MDC in 1999, a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Florida International University in 2005 and a master’s degree in leadership and human services from Nova Southeastern University in 2011.
