El Salvador’s Ambassador To The U.S. To Speak At Wolfson Campus

Milena Mayorga, El Salvador’s ambassador to the United States, will speak at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 1261 on Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event, part of the Mark Samuelian Distinguished Speaker Series, is hosted in partnership with the Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium and The Honors College at Wolfson Campus.

Aaron Rosen, the president and founder of the World Affairs Council of Miami, will serve as the event’s moderator.

Mayorga, who was appointed as ambassador in 2020, will delve into El Salvador’s relationship with the U. S. and how their dynamic has shifted since President Donald Trump began his second term. 

She will also highlight El Salvador’s importance for the U.S. and the rest of the Western Hemisphere.
